Specifications:

This solenoid valve was used to replace pyro valves, where "zero" leakage was essential, used to flow seawater into hydraulic actuators.
1700-101 is the non latching version of the valve. 1714-100 is a non-submersible and smaller version of 1700-100.

Other valve models available to 1-1/4" full flow (Cv = 17), to 10,000 psi.
By definition, flow coefficient, Cv, is the volume of water in gallons per minute at 60 deg. F that will flow through a given element with a pressure drop of 1 psi.
