This custom designed solenoid valve is used to scuttle an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), where "zero" leakage is essential for long-term bubble-tight service.
Latching solenoid valves are used in place of pyro valves. 1714-101 is a non-latching version of this valve.
The solenoids on these models are non-submersible, ocean submersible solenoids can be provided.
