This is a two-wire system, no transmitter is needed. This hermetically sealed switch
was custom designed for use in Pendant Switch 1810-100, used by Navy Seals, and
requiring high reliability. A new sensing element provides the low hysteresis needed for
a short switch height. Other desirable features of the new sensing element led to the
design of a new Proximity Switch 1800-202, used as a fly-by counter switch.
