Designed for use in subsea control system pods for the offshore oil industry, pressure switch model 2401-101 is used in a pressure compensated oil-filled pod.
Model 2401-100 differential pressure switch has two fluid ports and two single pin underwater connectors.  Ocean submersible model 2402-100 is also available.

These pressure switches can be used in other harsh environment applications. The hermetic electric switch module is a stainless steel housing electron beam welded to a glass-sealed header. No o-rings are used since actuation is accomplished with magnets. No electric power supply is needed.
