The "Sea Energy" Quick Release is a unique and proven fail-safe mechanical device that is depth-pressure actuated, utilizing the ocean pressure to actuate. Used on underwater vehicles or on free fall recoverable vehicles, it is used to separate the buoyant section from the hard ballast. Its release action is instant, and the actuation depth is accurate within +/- 5% of selected depth.
The Quick Release is small and lightweight, having re-useable stainless steel components; no electrical power is needed, provides accurate release depth, choice of release depth, and fail safe reliability.
