The proximity switch in conjunction with the actuating magnet can be used to detect the proximity of two objects. Sensing ¼ inch to ½ inch and even higher depending on the magnet actuator. 

It is possible to sense the movement within a very small range. The switch hysteresis (distance between “on” and “off”) is a low distance of 0.020 to 0.040 inch.

Submersible to 20,000 ft. in ocean depth.

Hermetically sealed, stainless steal construction and custom molded onto underwater cable, connectors and other terminations.

Built to meet the highest industry standard ratings for protection against the effects of continuous immersion in water such as IPX8 of IEC 529.

Only 2 wires and no power to operate.

Resistant to shock and vibration.
