Designed as scuttle valve for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), where “zero” leakage is essential for long-term bubble-tight service.
Latching solenoid valves can be used in place of pyro valves. The solenoids on these two models are non-submersible but ocean submersible solenoids can be provided. 1714-101 is the non-latching version.
