An aerospace design modified for use on deepwater control systems, and providing significant weight and space advantages. This valve type is used on the “ALVIN” vehicle. Being constructed totally of stainless steels, the valve is corrosion resistant to seawater internally and externally, eliminating the need of an oil-filled pod. No adjustments; making the valve highly resistant to shock and vibration, and resulting in low maintenance, increased life, and high reliability.
